I'm just going to post something so that this doesn't go more than a year without any activity. Oh, I had such high hopes. Anyone have anything in particular you'd like to discuss? :)

February Forum: Motivation

February's Forum will be held on the 23rd of the month at 7:00 am in the Library. By request, our topic is Motivation. Below are some links to articles that may or may not be the reading assignment, but I figured if you're reading this, you may be interested. :)

The Horace Mann site had a wide selection of articles. Be forewarned, I haven't read anything yet.

What Do Students Want (and what really motivates them)? also looks good.

Hiding the Aspirin in the Applesauce might imply tricking students into learning. None of us would ever do that, right?
